Incident Command Annual Refresher

Course Description

This eight-hour course covers the concepts, terminology, positional duties, and functions for industry supervisors and workers who will have responsibilities during an emergency incident or a pre-planned event. Through lecture, interactive discussions, and table-top exercises, you will be reacquainted with the material learned in your initial Incident Command Systems-National Incident Management System training and receive updated information on changing policies and practices. This course is based on the national standards (IS-100, -200, -700, and -800) developed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Wildfire Coordinating Group, and meets the standard for the OSHA HAZWOPER Incident Command competency level and annual refresher training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(v) and (q)(8).
